As salaam Alaikum. My Name is Najla Muhammad and I converted to Islam when I was 18 I'm now 21. During my time before coming to Islam I was so lost, looking for a religion, because I always felt God was real and I wanted nothing more but the true guided religion.
I've experience many problems, from family ignorance to being kicked out of my home sleeping in masjids and being from place to place just because of my beliefs. Although it is still a struggle being African American and a muslim these days, In Sha Allah I will always hold on to the rope of Allah dealing with today's struggles. I love you all, And promise me you'll never let go either , OK?
