I stood by the arrival area waiting for them to come out of the gate when the announcer said through the speaker of the plane's landing.

Leo and Lauren were busy playing with each other, habang katabi ko naman si ate Karlie at kuya Aiden.

"Ready?" Ate Karlie asked me and all I can do was nod at her, not taking my eyes off of the arrival gate.

Soon, I saw both of my parents coming out of the gate, kasama nila si kuya Gian na bumalik ng Korea para balikan si ate Elaine na noon ay buntis sa kanilang unang anak. Hindi ko napigilan ang hindi mapalunok ng dahil sa kaba. They're here. They're really here.

I've never been afraid of my parents, specially my mother, than today.

"Kaminari." My father greeted me as soon as they have come closer to us, he gave me a hug and rub my back to sooth me. "Have you been well?" He asked.

I can't help but smile at my father, before nodding at him. My father step aside and I looked at my mother who came closer to me and hugged me.

"Kaminari..." She gave me a smile, but I only forced a smile on her. She then turned to Leo and Lauren who happily greeted their grandparents.

"Let's go?" Pag-aya ni kuya Aiden sa amin and we all went to the parking lot, straight to the van.

Tahimik kaming lahat sa byahe, except for the kids who were playing with each other. I look outside the window and my eyes widened when I saw our billboard. I never knew that I would see one right now. (a/n: the picture in the billboard was something like this. :D)

"So you've met." I wasn't sure how I'm going to face my mother right now, all I did was nod at her.

After that, there was an awkward silence between us. Our relationship wasn't the same anymore.

Nang makarating na kami sa bahay, para kaming may kanya kanyang mundo na agad na naghiwa-hiwalay, na parang wala talagang may gusto ng sitwasyon namin ngayon.

Dumeretso ako sa kwarto ko para ilapag ang mga gamit na dala-dala ko, at pagkatapos ay hinatid ko ang mga bata sa kwarto nila. Mukhang napagod sila sa paglalaro kanina. Nang masigurado ko na, na okay sila, ay iniwanan ko na sila sa kwarto at pumunta ako sa kwarto nina kuya Gian kung saan nakahiga si ate Elaine sa kama habang katabi ang anak nila.

"So this is Colenne." Sabi ko at umupo ako ng marahan sa kama upang hindi ko mabulabog ang pagtulog ng anak nila, "She's beautiful like you ate Elaine." I told her and she smiled at me.
