We all want what we dont have
And when we get it,
We want something else.
Why cant we just be happy with what we do have?
Why do we feel like we need something more?
Will we ever be happy,
With what we have?
Not feel the need for anything else?
Or is it human nature?
Are we supposed to be like this?
Yearning and pleading for something
Thats just out of reach.
We would do anything to get it
And when we do,
We realize that it wasn't worth it.
Then we find ourselves wanting,
What we used to have
Because we all want;
What we dont have.
