Volume 01 - Chapter 04: "World's Map"

                                                   "World's Map"

After introducing the rules of "World", Urana explained the geography of the game's map.

The game called " World" is based on the real world's which means everything geographically are identical to the real world.

So she explained the look of the "World" map. 

She showed me the globe of "World" map, there I saw the same map which the real world has, even the continents and islands. This means that we are likely to live in the real world. 

There I saw the other maps which are blackened and shaded and has a lock picture in it and asked Urana why all other maps are in black colored and having a lock sign.

She explained that unless a player or players unlock the gates that can made us pass through another map, other maps will be locked but if players passed the gate's challenges, those maps will be unlocked.

Then I understood that it was like a dungeon type of game play, where we need to pass through a gate just to open up the locked map where we can explore too.

There she asked me what type of character I choose to become. I chose to become a swordsman.

After she explained all of my queries, she welcomed me and showed me the way to introduction exit way.

A blinding light directed toward me.

I opened my eyes, a city was placed in front me.

Players all over the world was there already, exploring this city called "Philles".

I looked at the map, and it surprised me that this map looked like Chile in real world map. After I was warped at the front of this city, one NPC is shouting, "Welcome to Saigo City Capital!" and this means that this city is called "Saigo" 

I forgot to look but there are description at the map, I looked it again because I am curious. And yes, Saigo was the name of this Country's Capital.

Saigo was in between of the provinces called "Isopara" and "Erta" province. 

I walked and explored the city and found many shops where they sell weapons and potions.

After exploring, I started to think of leveling up, but thought that 10 million players, I wonder how is the language barrier.

I started talking to one player which I encountered on the way outside of the city, I talked to him and I was surprised.

I can understand him and he said that he was an Indian and surprisingly he was shocked too to know that I am a Southeast Asian person and he can still understand what I am saying.

This means that language configuration of this game was already fixed and made the way that each player can easily understand what other's saying like an automatic translator to our ear.

After all, Virtual Game Creators of this game are Gods of Virtual Gaming World so it is not surprising to know this kind of technology to be applied in this game.

Then I continued going out of the capital to start earning experience.

The "World" time is 7:24 AM, January 26, 2060 and the game has just begun for me and for the 10 million players who were up for the "World's" challenge,
