My Angel

Ive seen the angel that God has sent for me

I see her face in the waters, of this never ending sea

I must get back to my angel, for that is my purpose to be

 

I am lost without my angel, but i have no time to cry

For if i began to doubt myself, i will surely die

I must get back to my angel, i can not yet say good bye

 

The torture that is my life, is more than I can bare

I have lost my faith in God, our bond i must tear

I could not find my angel, she is lost within the air

 

As the water fills my lungs, my life is in my eye

I see the days with my angel, such bliss could not be a lie

I see my angel in the water, i must go with her inside

 

The next thing that happened, i could not forsee

My angel was pulling me up, from the waters surrounding me

That day i saw my angel, she saved me from the sea

 

You can not give up she said, i must listen and obey

You went through hell and back, but please do as i say

 For I am your angel, and our love will never decay

 

I listened to my angel, and that day i didnt die

Days can be hard but i can not be destroyed by strife

The day my angel found me, i returned to life
