Biography: Im Yoona was born in Seoul, South Korean. She was trained in the areas of acting, singing, and dancing for five years under S.M. Entertainment along other trainees. She graduated from Daeyoong High School and is currently attending Dongguk University majoring in theater and music along with fellow member, Seohyun.
Career/Works: As part of Girls' Generation, she has released a debut single, three full albums, three mini-albums, one Japanese full album, three Japanese singles, 1 American single and 1 American Maxi-single. As an actress, she has received numerous acting awards and has acted in several Korean dramas, such as 9 Ends, 2 Outs and You Are My Destiny. In 2011, she was casted in a lead role alongside Jang Geun-suk, for her newest drama, Love Rain (also known as Love Rides The Rain). The drama is currently airing on KBS2 since the 26th of March 2012. Even before she debuted with Girls' Generation, YoonA was well known in the entertainment industry because of various modelling and endorsements she did for various magazines when she was still a trainee.
