The cankerous mind,
No conscience behind,
Is a vicious tribe,
A part of everyone's gripe.
Refuses allegiance
Worships dominance,
Shrewd to the core
And knows how to lure.
Hollow chants of honesty,
Of unity, of diversity,
Empty words of assurance,
Guides its treacherous existence.
There's no real valor
In the absence of candor,
And the charm of ersatz charms
Is embraced with both arms.
It's easy to embrace
The road of disgrace
Hard to maneuver back
Ditching the infamous sack.
Prepare before you leap
To sow what you reap,
If not, there's always a choice
Avoid the sleaze, maintain poise.
