Drake was watching me write my paper from across the library. He smiled at me when I caught his yes. "Be right back." I said to Jes.

"M'kay." She said. I closed my book, picking up my paper and pencil.

"So?" I sat down next to him. He smiled over at me.

"What?" He asked, a childish grin spreading over his lips, making his hard jaw line look a bity softer.

"You've been watching me all day." I couldn't stand how close we were to eachother. I could smell his minty breath on my cheek. "What're you thinking about?" I asked him, whispering as the librarian walked past us.

"You want the truth, or do you want me to be polite?" He muttered.

"I'm stronger than I look." I said. "If you told me I looked ten pounds over weight I'd ignore you and ask you something about my history assignment."

"And if I said something else?"

"Just tell me, Drake." I gave him a small smile. He leaned closer towards me and kissed me. "That wasn't quite the answer I was expecting." I said breathlessly.

"You were expecting something?"

"More alone the lines of the ten pounds. Either that or I had food on my face." I laughed.

"You knew I liked you, though, didn't you?" He rested his elbow on the back of my chair.

"I had a nagging suspission."

"And what is that nagging feeling telling you to do now?" He reached up and tucked a strand of my pin-straight hair behind my ear.

"I'm working on that one." I smiled and let him kiss me one more time. I closed my eyes for this one. What would Jace say? What would happen to us? Why do I feel like I'm in love with the two of them?

When I left the library for my next class, I'd told Drake I'd think about "us." But when I got up the stairs to the physics class, all my problems were solved.

"Can I talk to you for a sec?" Jes spun around from the window of the door and marched me off a bit down the hallway.

"Wait, what's going on?" I asked, frowning.

"Nothing, I just want you to see something."

"Jes, you've never been taht good at lying." I walked over to the door and dropped my bag next to it, looking through the window. "Oh my god." Danielle was sitting on Jace's lap, and they were talking and kissing. "Oh my god oh my god oh my god. Holy shit!" I turned around and covered my face with my hands. I took a deep, shuddering breath and dropped my hands to my sides.

"Remi?" She asked.

"I need to talk to Drake." I said.

"Are you sure?"

"God, Jes! Yes I'm sure!"

"Sorry." She held up her hands.

"Sorry, but you saw Drake and I in the library, right?" She nodded. "I just need to go answer his question." I hugged her.

"Go for it, sis." She laughed, and walked down the other way to meet Ash.

"Drake?" I looked around the shelf in the library. He was leaning against the bookshelf that was built into the wall, a book in his hands.

"Yeah?" He looked up. I walked over and stood in front of him.

"I wanna give you a go." I said as he slid the book he was holding onto the shelf behind him. He reached forward and put his hands on my hips, and I wrapped my own around his neck as he leaned down, esting his forehead against mine.

"I'm glad." He kissed me.

"Where've you been?" Jace opened the back door to the plaza for me. "Show starts in an hour!"

"Sorry, sorry! I was doing something." I ignored him and walked straight up to Fabio. "I am so so sorry, I was in the middle of something and I got stuck in traffic!"

"No problems, your dresses just got out anyway, so go over there and Mr. Jen will have you fitted and then styled." He waved me off and I ignored Jace. I went straight to hair and makeup and they sent me over to wardrobe.

"Where were you?" Jace asked, touching my hand gently. I pulled my hand back and adjusted my shoes. I had just gotten here from spending the day at Drake's photo shoot. Fabio had asked me to do some of that shoot, and I'd asked him not to tell Jace.

"So how did it go?" Fabio asked.

"Good..." I paused, seeing Jace listening in. "We got all the family things sorted out, so we'll be good."

"Great!" He winked. "Tell the family I said hello. Oh - go get up there - you're opening the show, sexy, so get a bove on!" He walked me to the door and he and Jace stood there and I felt that sdrenaline rush through my when I walked through the opemning onto the runway. I smiled a bit to myself and walked. It only got akward when we walked into the after party. But when it was over, jace knew something was up.

"I have to be home by two, so I need to get going." I tossed my plate in the trash and stood up.

"Remi, what's wrong?" He asked, walking me to the door.

"Oh, nothing." I said, slightly sarstacally. "Just tell Danielle 'hi' for me?" His eyes widened when he realized what I was talking about.

"Oh, remi, you don't understand!" He exclaimed, taking my hand and turning me around.

"Jace, I'm really not in the mood for explanations." I said, a tear dropping from my eye, my eyeliner going down with it.

"You look like you need one." He said.

"I do. But I'm with Drake now." I dropped his hand, giving him a hard stare as I backed away from him. I couldn't deny that Drake was partially a rebound. But they both got my attention. Admittedlly more of it than I had thought safe.
