I snorted and angrily kicked the trash can standing beside me. "Lyness" really?! I had clearly overestimated the amount of brain cells my former best friend seemed to have since she couldn't even spell "Linus" correctly. Though I would rather think that she did that just to piss me off. I crumpled the ridiculous letter and dumped it into the trash can I had just bowled over.
I was so angry and humiliated that I just felt like throwing myself on the ground and never stand up. How could Jules say yes first and then just crush my ego like that?! I noticed some freshmen staring at me, laughing, but I didn't really care since I was pretty popular at my school. Nothing to worry about, let them chatter. In this situation I didn't have the time to worry about people's gossip.
I more likely had to come up with a plan to win Jules over, because when I want something, I won't let go until I have it.
