"I tried so hard to keep her alive, but now here I am at her funeral." I thought sadly as I watched my family mourn over the death of my passed grandmother.

When you try your best, but you don't suceed

The last thing I got from her was the new video camera I had wanted for a while, but couldn't afford.

When you get what you want, but not what you need

When I got home after the funeral I tried to go to sleep, but the sleep just wouldn't come.

When you feel so tired, but you can't sleep

Stuck in reverse

The tears fell down my face and I couldn't do anything about it. I lost something that can't be replaced. I loved my grandmother so much, but I guess that love went to waste.

Could it be worse?

I heard someone knock on my door and I dragged myself over to open it. In the doorway stood Arthur Kirkland, my best friend and the only one besides my family who knew about my grandmother's passing.

"_____, I know you are broken right now, but I promise, I will try to fix you." Arthur had come forward to hug me as he said that. I couldn't help but give him a tiny smile in return.

I watched as _____ gave me a small, broken smile. It hurt me to see the one I love hurt so much. I'd tell her I love her, but I know I'm not worth enough for someone as amazing as her.

I vowed that I would be the light to guide her back to happiness, to home. I will fix her brokeness.

I tried to think of some way to make her smile. Tears continued to come rushing down her face. There's nothing that could replace her grandmother, so what could I do?

I gasped when I felt something my lips, I widened my eyes when I saw that Arthur was kissing me. I closed my eyes and slowly kissed him back. It would take a while, but I know that Arthur will fix me.
