I've lived a long life to know what it's like to win... The feeling takes over your imperfections for a while, and your grin is a constant feature.
But I've also lived long enough to know what it's like to lose... It's like all energy has been drained from your body, your soul. For a while, your mind turns into a foggy mess. Negativity pouring out in every direction. A scowl takes place of the smile, and decides to stay a while.
Winning and losing has made me realize that nothing in life is permanent. Temporary emotions will wear off.
