One day they'll learn honey,
That words that are once spoken cannot be unspoken.

That once the messenger owl has done its job, there's no going back.

What people say sometimes reveal their thoughts, their minds, the crows behind those innocent eyes,

Don't be fooled by that smile or that sweetened laugh, because for some they need to add sugar in places they lack.

I know what you're thinking, oh I know them so well! They'd never hurt me, or taunt me oh they'd never yell.

Oh dear I can only put this in the nicest vocabulary. That some are misinterpreted or misheard. But words that are spoken are crystal as birds. Our heart may not hear but our ears oh our ears. Lesson be learned, don't you dare fly near those lying tears.

One day they'll learn honey,
That words that are once spoken cannot be unspoken.
