"You dyed your hair white? I thought you were dying it orange this
time" I said disappointedly. My name is Sarah wonder land, my parent's
thought it be funny cause apparently they were watching Alice in
wonderland when my mom went into labor. Anyway right now I'm with my
best friend of ten years Alex, we're both 14 right now. Alex is 5'4. I
know, he's a shorty but I can’t complain I’m a inch shorter. I call him
Rainbow a lot ‘cause he dyes his hair more than a middle aged woman.
Right now he dyed it white, his hair is the skater boy look. His
natural hair color is basically white but it's really bleach blonde
but you know those people that have bleached their hair so much that
It’s almost white? It’s that color. His eyes are a dark deep brown they
can make any girl melt with just a glance. His body thin and lanky,
mine chubby, but barely. My hair dark brown almost black it's at my
shoulders right now. My skin tone pale -A/N so is Alex's sorry I
didn't mention it before- and flawless good skin runs through my
family. My eyes dull boring brown unlike Alex's. Back to now.
"Mom said she likes it better and you know how she's sick so I just
wanna make her happy." he said looking down sadly. "Hey Alex, it's ok
she'll be better in no time" I said trying to cheer him up he looked
up and smiled weakly "Sarah I gotta tell you something" he said sadly
"Me too" I said happily. See I'm kinda, maybe-sorta in love with Alex
and tonight I'm gonna tell him!. "Do you wanna go first or shall I?"
"You first" I said getting over excited "I'm moving again" he said
looking at our intertwined fingers "So? You move all the time, nothing
new you'll be back in a few months anyways." he didn't answer "You’re
coming back right Alex?" see the thing is, Alex moves all the time but
comes back after a month or more sometimes less. It's cause of his dads
job, it sucks to me but he doesn't have a choice. "I’m not coming back
Sarah, we're going back to my home in Romania until mom is better." the
tears started welling in my eyes I yanked my hand out of his. He looked
up at me tears in his own eyes he stood up off the earthy ground of
our secret hide out in the woods by the darkest tree. We've met here
every Saturday since we were eleven.
"I gotta go" I said letting the tears fall freely and packed up our
favorite book and mangas, vampire kisses and black bird and bloody
kiss. You might think it's girly but their good books/manga's. "Sarah
wait What were you gonna say!" he said screaming at me running away
from chasing at me. When I got to the opening of the woods I looked
behind me to see him jogging to me trying to catch his breath "I love
you that's what" I whispered and ran, never going to see his face
again.
