My Grandmother

 

On this very day,

Just last year,

Was the day in which,

My Grandmother passed.

She was kind,

Nurturing,

And full of forgiveness.

In my eyes,

She was the best Grandma in the world!

She was the one who managed to stop me from sucking my thumb,

She was the one who gave us presents and made us laugh,

She was the one who bought us our bed, and our bikes,

And she was the one who I grew up to love as each day passed.

I miss her,

I miss her,

I miss her.

I miss my Grandmother,

And pray that she is,

Resting in Peace.
