For You, Lord

I ran away from you.

But, you stayed beside me.

I once condemned you.

But you forgave me.

I doubted and questioned.

And I was truly wrong.

Still, I didn’t fully believe.

But you said that I can still be saved.

You said, “Seek and you will find.”

I did and I found you.

I left my old self behind,

And started to follow you.

How merciful are you.

Your love is so pure and true.

Lord, I love and praise you.

Thanks for everything you do.
