"Fish, we are almost home," he said. "When we reach the shore, I will introduce you to the boy first and I will sell you for a good profit." The old man started to think about the boy and how happy he would be when he sees him with the big fish. It had been an hour since a shark had appeared. He hoped no more sharks would come.
Suddenly the skiff started to wobble. He looked up in the sky and saw a big storm approaching. He began to panic and grabbed the fish. "Fish, we are almost home, don't leave me now." Again the old man thought of the boy, Adam. "I wish he was here to help me", he said to himself. But the boy wasn't there and he must make sure that he doesn't lose the fish until he reaches the shore. "I hope my hand doesn't cramp again," he said. "I won't be able to hold on if it does, and then I may lose the fish." After a while it was very windy and started to rain very hard. The skiff was wobbling even harder. The old man was afraid that the fish would escape and that he would get lost at sea.
