This was inspired by a Disney short. I can't remember which one or why I wrote this apart from it was in class and I won a glow in the dark skeleton. Woo.
Stumbling through the front door, I immediately tripped over the rug lying innocently on the floor. The dim hallway swam before my eyes and I couldn't actually remember the journey home from the bar.
Using the edge of a table to help me stand up, I embarked on the most daunting task; going upstairs.
Though I'd probably awoken my sleeping girlfriend already, I tried to be silent when creeping up the stairs.
Success! Arriving at the bedroom door, I opened it slowly and tip-toed over to the bed, carefully sliding under the sheets.
My girlfriend hadn't woken up- but the man beside me had.
It wasn't my bed.
