The blonde woke up in the morning to Lena walking in. Emma smiled sleepily at the older woman.

"Morning, Lena." She whispered.

"Morning, Emma. Breakfast is downstairs then we can get started on that paper work." Lena told Emma and walked out, closing the door behind her.

The sad girl stood up and changed her clothes. She headed downstairs and heard her foster brothers and sisters leaving for school. She sat at the table next to Lena.

"How did you sleep?" The older woman asked.

"Okay. Better than usual." Emma smiled a bit and started to eat.

"Well that's good. Also for school, I'm the vice principle so if you need anyone, just come to my office."

Emma nodded and her foster mother started to fill out the paperwork, asking Emma a bunch of questions. Personal ones, random ones. All sorts, but of course the blonde didn't say much. Only want Lena needed.

Once they were done, Lena got Emma a tooth brush from the bathroom, a new yellow one. "Here. You brush your teeth then we can get to school."

Emma nodded and went to the bathroom. She brushed her teeth and pulled down her sleeves. It wasn't that hot out but it wasn't so cold either. It was perfect sweater whether. That and because Emma always wore sweaters. It was her thing when she wasn't wearing leather jackets.

The blonde came out and got in the car. Lena followed.

They sat in the car.

Emma looked at Lena. "When did you know you were a lesbian?" She asked.

Lena bit her lip. "When I was about your age. Why?"

Emma shrugged. "Just wondering." She looked out the window.

Finally, they got to Anchor Beach Charter School. Emma looked around and held Lena's hand as they walked in, just so the blonde wouldn't be so nervous. Only everyone was already in class. But she was still nervous.

Lena showed her new foster kid around and gave the blonde a late pass.

Emma took it and went to class. She gave the pass to her teacher and sat down besides Mariana. She felt eyes on her, causing her to turn around. She saw a gorgeous girl. Her long hair was in a braid, her outfit was something a house rider would wear and her smile was as bright as a thousand stars. Who is she? Emma needed to know her name.

The teacher glared at the blonde. "Miss. Swan, turn around." He demanded.

Emma sighed and faced forward. She bit her lip and didn't pay attention, like always. She was too busy thinking about that girl that she didn't even know. For all she could know, that girl could be straight and have a boyfriend. Then Emma would be heartbroken just like she always was. She was always hurt and no one seems to notice.
