Chapter 26- Video Questions?

Kane POV

I quickly put Lauren behind my back in case this guy meant danger. But what surprised me was the guy took out a piece of paper and pen. He gave me a warm smile.

"Hi there. I am sorry if I startled you." The man said with a hoarse voice

I gave him a cheeky smile. "It's no problem sir. Can I help you with anything?"

The man nodded. "It is my daughters birthday today and we can't afford anything for her because her mom and I just lost our jobs. We are running on borrowed money right now" the man began

I gave him a sad look but I nodded for him to continue and Lauren walked out from behind me smiling at the man.

"Well, I over heard her once talking to her friend about the 'Kauren' couple and I asked her what was that. She told me about you guys and how you guys are her idols." He said pausing to let us soak in his words

Lauren and I both looked at each other smiling. I gestured him to finish.

"I've been trying to find you all day since I heard you were here for a while and I wanted to get you to sign this paper for her birthday?" He finished off with a question

I felt Lauren move up and she gave the man a hug. Lauren pulled back and smiled at the man. "It's no problem." She said softly

I stuck out my hand and the man shook it. "Names Barn" he said smiling

I nod my head showing him respect. I reached my hand out and took the paper and pen. I signed it and also wrote a little message. I passed it onto Lauren and she did the same.

I heard shouting and looked behind me. There was Niall and Thomas running for a crowd of girls."I'm sorry Barn. But we have to get going. Ill see you another time?" I said taking out an application for a bodyguard position for famous people.

Barn looked at the paper than at me in happiness. Lauren said goodbye to Barn, He patted my back and I grabbed onto Lauren's hand and we quickly rushed into the hotel. We waited on the lobby for Niall and Thomas. 10 seconds later they rushed in with their clothes all mangled up. Niall was missing a shoe and Thomas was missing a sock... But he still had the shoe on. Weird.

~Back home~

I walked into my house from riding around bored. Its been 3 days since we've come home and I already miss NYC and the 1D lads. Lauren was at her benefit concert thing so it was just me alone. I miss her like crazy! Thomas and Kyle were in Doncaster to visit family and mum was somewhere in the world. I locked my door and walked upstairs to my room. I opened my laptop and set up my video camera. Today I was going to be doing an 'Ask Kane' video.

I clicked record and it started.

"Hello lovies welcome to today's video... ASK MEEEE!" I said happily. I paused then corrected myself. "Ask KANE."

I scoffed at myself. "Anyways, I picked out some questions from Twitter RANDOMLY." I said emphasizing randomly

I scattered my hands around in the air. "Like for real RANDOMLY. I just got on the #AskKane Hashtag thing and clicked randomly on some closing my eyes and took a screen shot." I said truthfully

"I promise I did not look at any of them AT ALL!" I said smiling in reassurance.

I took out my phone and showed the pics to the screen. "Okay here we go!" I said cheerily

"1 question!...from Bamsta2245" I said than looked at the first photo. "Kane you are so BEAUTIFUL. HAVE MY BABIES!" I read aloud in a fan girl voice

I looked to the camera than back at my phone. Then back at the camera and sighed. "Next question!"

"What is your greatest fears? From Lolulauren34"

I gave a thinking face and snapped my fingers. "Losing the most important people in my life!...." I said then paused for dramatic effect. "Simply people's fans, the lads, the Cim Fam, and of course... My girlfriend Lauren"

"Next question!"

~Couple of questions later~

I looked down at my phone. "Why are you not at the Cimorelli benefit concert?"

I looked at the camera and gave a tired look. "Well I needed a break after the whole NYC adventure." I explained

I looked at the time and sighed. "Well looks like it's time for me to go fix up some lunch.." I looked at the camera. "Okay! Bye Lovies. Love you lots! Peace out loves!" I said then turned the camera off.

I walked to my laptop and sighed. Video editing is a go!

~5 hours later~ It was around 7 pm and I heard a car door slam from outside. I looked out my window which I was right next too. I saw the Cim girls exiting the van and I immediately jumped up. I grabbed my penny board and keys the ran downstairs to the front door. I ran out the house locking it quickly then to the Cimorelli's. Right before Lauren could reach the door I hugged her quickly from behind.

Lauren giggled. "I've only been gone for like 12 hours Kane."

I gave her a pouting face. "Those were the longest 12 hours in me lifetime!" I said exaggerating

Lauren rolled her eyes and walked into the house leaving me to follow her like a lost puppy. "How was the concert?" I asked her when we entered the kitchen

Lauren turned around smiling. "It was so amazing! We got to meet so many Cim fams and it was just so crazy!" She said excitingly

I gave her a huge smile. "That's fantastic! I'm so proud of you girls for making it this far!" I said giving her a hug

Lauren pulled back with me still holding her waist and her hand around my neck and smiled at me. "I missed you." She said softly

I poked her nose. "I know."

I heard a camera click and instantly groaned. "This is totally going on Twitter and Instagram!" Lisa's voice popped up.

Lauren giggled and walked to the fridge. I looked to Lisa who was by the door smiling evilly. I look back to Lauren. "You can't be seriously allowing her to be near me are you Laur? SHE'S MAD!" I said jokingly

Lisa looked at me offended but came in for a hug. My eyes grew huge and I ducked it. I ran and hid behind big Nick we happened to just arrive.

"SAVE ME!" I screamed like a little girl to Big Nick.

He chuckled and said aloud for everyone to hear "How does Lauren like you?" He asked jokingly

Lauren looked over to us when he said her name. I look back at him seriously. "I have no idea Mate." I said seriously.

We both laugh and Lauren rolls her eyes. Lisa left when I rejected her hug.

Hey lovies! Sorry it's short, it's just a quick filler. As you may know exams are coming up and I've been crammed up studying. I will try to update again Friday and I have an idea coming up so it might be a huge chapter. MIGHT. Anyways, I have to give a big shout out to CimFam947! She's the reasons I even made this story, if it wasn't for her and inspiring me, 'Two is better than one' would not even exist. It would just be a forgotten story on me notes in my phone.
