Dear diary,
I am soooo happy today. Mum said i can go back to school this coming June. I love school, i love how my teachers talk because they sound so smart. I want to be like them someday. Mum said i should dig all my old notebooks so i can use the unwritten pages because she won't have enough money to buy me new ones - that's the sad part. Finally, I'm in grade 1!!! can you believe that?
On the other side, i think something's wrong with my mum diary. She's kind of sad lately. I overheard her talking to her friend Sally about a baby. Do you think mum's pregnant?? But why does she look so sad? then i realized diary, mum should be sad because i'm not ready to take care of a little brother or sister yet and she can't leave her job.
But I promise diary, I will do my best to be a really good older sister. I will protect and love the baby with all my heart :)
