Bianca was sat in her room, watching her over-priced TV, sat on her over-priced couch. Her room was more like a flat. It had a little lounge with a mini fridge in it, an en-suite bathroom, and her actual bedroom. She knew she was lucky to have a wealthy father, but she sometimes wished she was more common. She's had endless date proposals and even wedding proposals, but she knew they were only in it for the money. She really liked that American boy she'd met on the bus, and he seemed to like her too, despite the fact he didn't have any idea of her family's finances. She decided to have a "responsible" house party, considering her father was actually pretty laid back. She called Logan first and invited him, then she called Harry, but only because she didn't want to upset him even more.

Most of the guests had arrived now, just Logan still to come. Harry had arrived, and unsurprisingly had already invited Bianca to dinner, but as always, she had declined and made up an excuse. Harry went into the kitchen and got two cans of beer, one for Pete and one for himself. As he walked over to Pete he looked over at Katherine, who was currently actually looking quite calm, and talking to someone, probably about business or something he thought. He gave Pete one of the cans, and said to him,

"Kate's actually in quite a good mood today, maybe this could work," he said.

"Kate? Who's Kate?" said Pete whilst opening the can, and getting foam on his shirt and on the floor.

"Oh yeah, forgot to tell you her name didn't I? Well Kate, who prefers to be called Katherine, is Bianca's sister,"

"Oh right, the one dragging a girl out the front door by her hair?" said Pete, sounding casual.

"Yeah... Her," said Harry, "well she did seem to be having a nice conversation with that girl until now," after saying that, Harry looked at Katherine and saw that she had a reddish-purple stain on her grey dress. Well, that would explain it. When he looked back where Pete was, he was gone.

Pete walked over to Katherine, "well hey there," he said, grinning, "we seem to have matching stains," he said, still grinning. Katherine turned around and growled at him.

"Wow, your growl is nice," said Pete, sounding serious. Katherine frowned at him. She walked away and sat down on the red love-seat. She crossed her long legs, and tried to scrub the stain off. Pete examined her from head to toe. She had long, dark brown hair, with a perfect full fringe, not a single hair out of place. She was wearing a tight grey dress with long sleeves that clung to her arms. She was wearing nude heels and little make-up. He thought she looked great, no matter what Harry said, and to be honest he didn't care how shrewed she was. He sat down next to her and put an arm around her, and felt her stiffen in her seat.

"You know, Kate, I've heard such great stuff about you, that you're beautiful and strong willed, and plenty of other things!" Pete wanted to flatter her until she couldn't bear it, which would probably be quite soon from what he's heard. Katherine raised an eyebrow at him in warning,

"Get lost," she looked back down at her dress and continued to scrub at it.

"See, strong willed. I've heard you're unpleasant and rather insulting, but from what I'm seeing, they're all lies." Pete continued to compliment her, even if he was twisting the truth a little,

"Who are you and what do you want from me?" she said, in monotone.

"Ah, Kate-"

"Katherine," she interrupted.

"Kate," He said, "I'm Pete and I'm going to marry you,"

Katherine laughed humorlessly and got up, "in your dreams," she said, before walking away. Pete smiled to himself. His plan was working.

Logan finally arrived and went straight over to Bianca, who turned around and smiled at him. Logan thought Bianca was looking particularly beautiful tonight. She was wearing a gold, strapless dress, with matching gold heels. And her hair was naturally wavy, but looked great.

"Sorry I was so late, I had to study for uni and all that," said Logan, smiling at Bianca,

"That's fine, I'm just glad you could come," she said, smiling sweetly back at him. She went to kiss him on the cheek, but then she heard a cough, behind her. She turned around and saw Harry,

"Alright," she said, "don't get your knickers in a twist, we're just friends," she fake smiled at him. She turned and looked at Logan, who looked quite upset, but then she winked at him and he was back to his usual grinning.

Pete saw someone over by Harry who looked familiar, he walked over. The person turned around and looked at Pete,

"Pete!" he said.

"Logan!" said Pete, before pulling Logan into another of his manly hugs.

"Pete, man, how you doin'?" said Logan, grinning ecstatically.

"I'm doing great, how are you?" said Pete. Logan pointed to Bianca and winked silently.

"Oh, Lucky you," Pete chuckled. Harry and Bianca both turned around, and spoke synchronised,

"How do you know each other?"

Pete and Logan laughed,

"When I was in LA we were in a band together, but we went our separate ways I guess," said Logan.

"We could play you some tunes?" suggested Pete.

"Oh, alright then, just ask the band if you can take over for a bit, besides, it's Dad's kit," said Bianca, still smiling. Pete and Logan walked over and had a word with the band. Soon Logan was stood in front of the microphone, holding an electric guitar and singing the best he could, and Pete was on the drums, playing his heart out. Afterwards, everyone was applauding and Logan walked back over to Bianca. She looked surprised,

"I had no idea you could do that!" she said, sounding excited.

"Well, you know, it's just a hobby..." said Logan, modestly.

"It was great!" squealed Bianca, "You've got to teach me how!"

"I guess that could be arranged," said Logan, with his trademark grin.

Brian, Katherine and Bianca's father, walked in through the front door and looked surprised by all the people in the house, but he wasn't angry. Pete went over to him straight away and shook his hand, "You must be Kate's father!"

"Yes..."

"We've agreed to get married this Sunday!" said Pete, yet again twisting the truth. Katherine could obviously hear as she laughed humorlessly and said,

"Yeah, whatever,"

Pete whispered in Brian's ear, "she doesn't like to talk about it publicly, but just make sure she gets to the church at noon on Sunday, alright?"

Brian looked at Pete like he was mad, "Okay..."

Before Pete walked out and headed home, he called over his shoulder, "Love you Kate, can't wait 'tilSunday!"

"Yes, yes, I love you too ever so much, but don't be too disappointed if I'm not there!" she called back sarcastically before he left. Katherine thought Pete was completely mad. Yes, he was good looking, with his layered black hair, and smooth looking skin, and even the shape of his lips, and the clothes he wore, like his black skinny jeans and purple checkered shirt. Yes he was quite mysterious... But no, she still thought he was completely mad, but then again, wasn't she mad too?
