Chapter 27: The event #2

(Mioko's POV)

"Hi Bangchan!" I said.
"Hi Mioko!" He replied, taking my notepad to sign it. I smiled.
"You immediately realised it was me!" I said.

"Yeah? You thought I wouldn't recognise your voice, and notice your Aussie accent?" He said, looking at me.
"Oh of course! My accent!" I said, laughing as I realised.

He signed my notepad, and patted my head. I tilted my head in confusion. He chuckled and said, "you really do act like a kitten! You're just like lee know!"

I smiled, and moved on to meet Lee know. "Oi!" I called out.
He said something in Korean that the translator told me, "be careful Mioko, if you talk down to me stay might get furious and come after you".

His translator went away for a bit, and I have no idea what came over me, perhaps seeing a person so charming made me lose my mind?

I told him, "if only you weren't the lee know, I would've asked you out right away". He looked at me for a bit, and I smiled because I was deluded into thinking he didn't understand what I said.

"Mioko, I understand basic English," he said, smiling as he signed the notepad. I freaked out and as soon as he lifted the pen off the page I grabbed it and got up, I heard him laugh as I got up. Shit.

I sat infront of Changbin, and tried to brush off my embarrassment. "Hi!" I said.
"Hi Mioko!" He replied. Signing my notepad.

"Binnie, what's the surprise?" I asked, leaning closer.
He looked up, smirked, looked to his left and right, leaned closer and whispered, "wait and watch". My face dropped in disappointment.

He signed my notepad, and I moved on to hyunjin. "Hi hyunjin!" I said.
"Hi Mioko! Cute outfit!" He replied.
"Save the compliments for Azalea will you," I said, winking.

"Huh? Why?" He asked, looking genuinely confused. I sighed.
"Nevermind," I said. "You look handsome as always," I added.
"Thank you!" He replied, signing my notepad.

I sat infront of Han and said, "ayyy what's good?"
"Ayy you made it!" He replied.
"What do you mean I made it? You saw Eliana earlier!"

"Ah yes, haha sorry," he replied, signing my notepad. "You're kinda red," he said, suddenly.
"Me? No? Why would I be?" I said, trying to avoid thinking about what happened with Minho.

"Alrighttttt," he said.
"Tsk, whatever! So what if I'm red?!" I said, picking up my notepad and moving on. I sat infront of felix and he greeted me with a smile brighter than my future.

"Hi Mioko!" He said. I smiled wide to match his energy.
"Hi felix!" I said, trying to match his level of excitement. He held my hands and had a small conversation with me.

Finally a normal meeting I thought to myself. After he signed my notepad, I moved on to seungmin. "Ahhh so cute!" I said as soon as I sat. Obviously I said it to tease him, and it worked.

"Don't call me cute," he said, pouting, making him look cuter.
"Awww," I said, clearly triggering him. He signed my notepad and flicked it to me.
"Leave!" He whined.

I laughed and got up to go meet Jeongin. He said hi first, and I waved in reply. "Saw Eliana?" I asked.
"Hmm?" He said, trying to act oblivious.
"Oh please, I know you like her," I said.

He panicked and grabbed my wrist and said, "Don't you dare tell her!"
"Haha I won't!" I said, pulling my wrist away from his grip. He signed the notepad, and I moved on.

(Azalea's POV)

I sat infront of Bangchan, handed my notepad to him, and smiled. "Hi Azalea!" He greeted.
"Chan, you said there was a big surprise but this is just like a fan sign?" I asked.

"Oh come on, this is only one half of the event, wait until every one's done meeting us," he said, smiling at me. He signed my notepad.
"Thank you!" I said politely.

I got up, and sat infront of lee know. "Hi lee know!" I said.
"Hi Azalea!" He replied, which gave me some deja vu. As I was korean myself, I spoke to him in Korean.

He seemed to be happy to be able to communicate without a translator, I felt glad that I could make him feel less left out.
