Whenever I look at my guitar,
It makes me think of you
When you would play my favourite songs
It took me months to pick that guitar up again
The memories of you adding weight on such a light object
Do I ever cross your mind,
And if I do what do you find?
You cross my mind all the time,
And sometimes it makes me cry
Sometimes it brings a smile to my face
Sometimes I wonder if you remeber my name
I know yours made me never be the same
So many things carry the reminder of you
And I question if you ever see something that makes you stop and think of me
Do I ever cross your mind?
Maybe when you play your guitar
Maybe when you hear my favourite songs
Do I ever cross your mind?
And if I do what do you find?
Does it make you cry?
Or does it make you smile?
