break (not a chapter)

im sorry for all these breaks, my english teacher sucks by giving us so much work. yes, i'll be taking a break. i don't know when i'll be back, BUT i will come back eventually. maybe next week. once again I apologize! i'll probably make little comic oneshots of this au at school and post it so yall can be entertained while you guys wait for me to make a new written chapter.

thank you all for sticking around, it means a lot to me as someone who's a beginner writer and has little to no experience in this field. i usually read other fan fictions and then i develop my writing off of theirs as inspiration. my writing sucks, i'm really trying to push my vocabulary more to make the wording choice more interesting for yall. Though, it's quite difficult for me as my worst subject is probably english honestly. I excel at other subjects, but english has always had me stumped. Maybe it's because my comprehension is not the best whenever I'm reading something I honestly do not care for; perhaps it's due to the fact it's hard for me to read tone and understand figurative language in books. I do enjoy reading and making stories in my free time, but it's difficult to write my ideas on paper. the purpose of me writing this story is to entertain myself and others. most importantly, it's to help me become better at reading and writing. I've always been ahead of my grade, even in the subject English, but the constant 90s bug me out. (90s are usually my lower grades compared to my others)

it's the end of my school year about now, so I think I should focus on my assignments for school rather than pressuring myself to keep writing for this fanfiction. It's simply too much to handle at once. Trying to keep up my all As in school while drawing and writing a story from scratch is so much more difficult than some might perceive. final exams are coming up and I'm honestly stressed. If i get a bad grade on these final exams, my grade will be lowered by so much. A lot of people complain about me complaining about getting Bs, but they don't understand how high my standards are for myself. A B for you might be luxury, but a B might be hell for another. If you are one of these people, I want to remind you that not everyone has the same mindset. People set different goals for themselves, not everyone is just like you. It's not just them having high standards themselves, some people like myself are also under the pressure of their parents. Even though nothing too bad will happen if you get a B, it hurts a fuck ton to be a "failure" in front of your parents.

so, i will be taking a break in order to get some stress off my shoulders for a while, but I won't be gone for too long! I'll be reading other people's stories and putting them in my reading list so while you're waiting you can go check out other people's stories as well!

it was probably a better idea to make this fic during the summer honestly.
