Duijai Blake, aka Rajah Wild, was born and raised in the streets of Spanish Town, Jamaica.
Growing up in a family of music lovers, him get exposed to music from a tender age. Him fada love dancehall and reggae, and would often take him to concerts, where him woulda soak up the rhythms and melodies like a sponge.
As a youth, duijai struggled in school, but him find solace in music.
He attended the St. Catherine primary school where him find him love fi music after taking part in a assignment where him did have to write a song on drugs.
Him passion fi music grow over di years until him decide fi quit school and focus on his music in 11th grade at Jonathan Grant high school.
Him start writing him own lyrics and practicing him own rhymes, inspired by the likes of Bob Marley, Vybz Kartel, and Michael Jackson.
Him dream fi become a star, but him also know the harsh realities of the music industry.
Him start off performing at parties, dances and school events until he was recognized by the world
Fast forward to di present, Duijai Blake, now 20, step pon di stage, him heart a race like a car pon di highway.
Di crowd a buzz like a swarm a bees, and dem a wait fi him fi start di show. Him take a deep breath and ran onto the stage full of energy and vibes.
"A ratbat a lie!?" He said greeting his fans then launching into the first song:
"Tell yuh sumn weh u doh know, mi like bad bitch, mi like gogo, she like pop pill, she like zone out less wid di chattings just open up u throathole. Nuh wah nuh shy shy shi affi whore out. Buss Ina u mouth mek e cum through u nosehole, cah man a sinna u fi know seh mi grow cold and if she nuh muk then is a NO NO!! Nuh know nuh love a just mukkings mi know bout"
Di crowd erupt like a volcano, an' dem start sing along to every word. Duijai energy infectious, and him stage presence a command attention.
As him leave di stage, a hand land pon him shoulder. "U a go places, duijai," him manager, Jake, whisper ina him ears. "Yuh a go all di way to di top."
Duijai a grin, and him feel di rush of adrenaline. Him know dis a just di beginning.
Little did he know, his life was about fi change forever...
