Next morning naina and subhadra had left for the kala pradershan held at hastinapur, while leaving for hastinapur kanha gave two small boxes to naina one was meant to be given to Arjun for the war against panchal and one box was for her, kanha had asked her to open it when she felt every thing was falling apart, tho she was confused but agreed anyways. Now that she was thinking about Arjun she thought about all the Pandavas and thier elder brother karna the one who was the right owner of the throne was going be neglected in the kala pradershan she felt bad thinking about it.

Two days later

They reached hastinapur early morning,the palace of hastinapur was in the view of both subhadra and naina, both were super excited to meet the kurus, all the elders of kuru family were waiting at the entrance of the palace to welcome the yadav princesses, who just stepped out of their palki and were walking towards them. The kuru family was mesmerized by the beauty of the yadav sisters especially naina who was shining like a moon, and was also the hot topic of aryavart cause of her being from kaliyug. The sisters stood in front of mata gandhari and maharaj dhrishtratha who were smiling at them

Naina/subhadra: pranipat maharaj, maharani

Gandhari: no no putris please adress me as your mata and not maharani

The girls agreed with a yes and then greeted and took blessings of mahamhim, then vidhur and then kunti thier bua who hugged them tightly

Kunti: look at you both, all beautiful and grown up

The girls smiled at her and went back to gandhari who did thier arti, after that she gave the arti ka thal to a maid and placed both her hands on the cheeks of the girls taking in their features

Gandhari: indeed kunti your nieces are really pretty, any male would want them as their wives

Bhishma: indeed putri now let them come in and take a bit rest as the kala pradershan will start in a few hours

With that the girls entered the palace and were now heading towards their room for rest as their journey was long and tired some.

After a few hours

A knock was heard on naina's door which broke her slumber she went and opened the door and found a dasi thier

Dasi: rajkumari the kala pradershan will start soon mata kunti has asked you to get ready

Naina: ok

Naina quickly got ready but in that she did mess up her room but it was not a huge deal she thought and went from her room and found subhadra waiting for her with another beautiful maiden

Subhadra: pranipat jiji this dushala my friend we have studied together in kanyvas

Dushala: pranipat rajkumari, I have heard a lot about you from subhadra and I was egar to meet you and also wanted to know about you as you are from kaliyug

Naina: it's an honour rajkumari that you wanted to know about me feel free to ask me anything about kaliyug

Dushala: ok but on one condition

Dushala: you will call me dushala nothing else

Naina: ok, but you too have to call me jiji

Dushala: ok jiji

And the girls started to giggle and headed towards the arena where the kala pradershan was held, they sent towards the balcony where mata gandhari and kunti were already seated, naina took a seat besides kunti and subhadra sat besides her and dushala went and sat besides her mother. Naina knew what was going to happen and she didn't want that she didn't want karna to be humiliated by his own brothers but she couldn't do anything but she could warn kunti before hand, and which she did, naina slightly turned towards kunti and looked at her

Naina: bua kunti, may I tell you something?

Kunti: yes putri, what happened? Is something wrong?

Naina: no bua, but jis Nadi pai band bandha ho, toh Pani upar Sai behenai kai pehele, bandh ko khol daina chahiye war na use Pani kai rodre rup mai kai zindagiya barbad ho jati hai

Just as naina finished her words kunti was left in a deep thought and was confused and a bit scared as to what did naina's words mean and what was she trying to tell her but before kunti could ask her what her words Meant the kala pradershan started causing her to divert her attention to the front, but naina's words were still being repeated in her head. Soon drona charya came and stood infront of a huge wheel like yantra and started telling everyone how the wheel consists the names of all kuru prices and the name any prince that will be selected by the arrow shot by ashwatthama and the winner prince will fight with the next one. When the instructions were over Bhishma stood up

Bhishma: no prince should make the other prince bleed as this just a competition between brothers

And after that the competition began the arrow was shot and the first name was of duryodhan. His name was announced loud indicating his arrival on an elephant. Soon another arrow was shot to find out the opponent of duryodhan which came to be nakul who came on an egal. He and duryodhan both joined thier hands infront of their parents/mata but stopped when thier gaze feel on naina, who was looking at them with a smile on her face which could enchant the enchanter himself. Both were brought back by dronacharya's voice for them to start the dual.
