001 Searching CHAPTER TWO
It came to Regulus's attention that he spent the days after the night at the astronomy tower observing the girl who 'saved' him.
He hated saying he saved her. He believed he had been forced out of it after she was willing to risk her life just to have him step off the railing safely. He didnt want to be the cause to the girl killing herself
The days leading up to her mysterious disappearance he noticed her bubbly personality and he noticed days leading up to her disappearance how her smile faltered as she struggled to even keep her head up
2 days ago he noticed her absence at dinner.
Classes the days after he no longer saw her or heard her soft giggles in the back of class after one of her friends had whispered something funny to her.
His curiosity grew he wondered where she had disappeared to. He knew he couldnt ask any of her friends, he could risk being asked questions about why he cared if the two havent even spoken a word to one another.
He decided against it

Regulus anxiously sat at the long table inbetween his parents who were mingling with the others around them. He sat staring at his empty plate.
The figure which appeared in his peripheral vision was enough to make him lift his head up high.
The Dark Lord had arrived
He walked forward and took a seat at the top of the table overlooking every individual sitting down
"As you know, we have new members" His croaky voice sent shivers down Regulus's back "This family will be the reason we win this war" he smirked
The sound of the doors opening had everyones head turned as they observed the family walk in
"Sorry we are late my lord" the older man bowed his head "Cyrus Have a seat" The dark Lord smiled pointing at the empty seats opposite the black family.
As they sat down Regulus had more time to take in the families features. But his heart stopped as he recognised the familiar face of Désirée Holt.
She looked awful. The bags under her eyes were prominent and her make up was already smudged.
She looked high out of her minded but Regulus was shocked no one had realised yet but he knew she was good at hiding it and if he never saw her get high that night on the astronomy tower him himself probably wouldnt have noticed.
