After the kiss with billie i couldn't even process what just happened i just looked into her beautiful ocean eyes and said i had to go

when leaving the restroom i saw two girls rushing inside and heard them whispering

"who did you kiss?"

I chuckled at the question before shooting her a text

I smiled at the message before pocketing my phone and heading out of the festival

I stood in line waiting for an uber for about twenty minutes before one arrived and i got on

I looked out of the window realising how shitty my friends really were for just leaving,i mean we've been friends for so long i don't know how because all they do is leave me when i need them

My phone started buzzing and i picked duo seeing it was my brother

"hey are you almost home? i just fed blue and took him on a walk"

i had asked my brother to look after my new puppy whilst i went out

"awh thanks zack ill leave some money with mum for you-"

"you don't have to pay me hays"

"well i wanna so leave it,ill be home soon"

"okay ill see you soon , love you!"

"love you too"

I smiled putting my phone back in my bag before resting it on the window

after a little car ride the uber dropped me home and i made my way inside seeing my brother on my playlist playing gta story mode

"dude they asked if i wanna kill franklin or michael what type of question is that?!"

I laughed knowing exactly what part he was playing before i walked over kissing his head

"are you staying over?"

I asked having to know if i had to make food for two

"probably not mums coming to get me she has a late shift"

I nodded and looked inside the fridge seeing that i really needed to go shopping

"fuck !"

for the next hour all i heard was my brother shouting of absolute rage before we decided to both work on the missions together

my mother ended up interrupting our game to collect him before he hugged me and rushed off

me and my family never really had a good relationship

my mum chose her husband over me, she re married after my dad died and he's a piece of shit.
I've been trying to get custody of my brother since i don't want him around his sweet soul but my mother wouldn't let that happen ever.

i made a promise to my dad to keep my little brother safe and i'll do whatever it takes

i walked back inside the house turning the tv off and grabbing my phone making my way to my bathroom

stripping my clothes off i looked in the mirror seeing the eye bags under my eyes,the tired look i seem to feel the most comfort in now being the everyday look i take within myself

I turned the tap on and let the hot water fill up the bathtub before getting in releasing a big breath i didn't know i was hiding.

i reached over for my phone seeing she had messaged me back

god i wish her lips were in mine right now

did you get home safe?

yup just in the bath relaxing now

I put my phone down before resting my head back and soaking into the bubbly water

the simple yet short moment i shared with the older girl made my head spin

her lips were so soft and her touch? oh god i could absolutely melt into those arms if i do see her again

but to her i was probably just another number

just another digit added to her phone number

i don't think she's the kind of person to kiss a different girl every night but then again i don't know her so maybe i was.

maybe i was just another number.

Billie POV

I couldn't stop thinking of her as i walked inside my childhood home

i headed straight to bed after such a busy day

she was all that was in my mind

something about her felt like a song i didn't want to share with anyone but myself

i wanted to keep her in my arms that very moment

but i don't know much about her

maybe she just wanted someone around her

she seemed lonely after her friends left her so maybe she didn't enjoy it as much as i did.

or maybe im overthinking it?
