chapter 2

I woke up at 5:00 am for my fajar salah prayed and made dua and I moved towards the gym where I saw zaid was already working out when Dad entered the gym he also was working out from the past week since Ammi's bday was coming up..we don't usually celebrate birthdays but dad wanted to do a little something specific for her and all the kids were in on it.
I quickly completed my gym routine and off i went to the kitchen to meet my sweet momma who was making breakfast, Dadu and dadi were sitting and watching the tv when I came downstairs I wished them salam and got their duas..
We all sat for breakfast when i noticed the zohra wasn't there,when I asked, momma replied that zohra had to go for college for a project she was working on past few days. I started to eat when dadi spoke:zayan beta is already 27 years old and i want to see my granddaughter in law don't you think it's time..?
To which i choked on the food I was eating and zaid was laughing his guts out I gave him a glare yet he was still laughing
I tried changing the topic when dadu momma and dad also joined in.i tried my best to quickly finish of the meal so I had i could leave

I looked at the watch it was 8:00 so it meant it was time to get ready when I saw zaid. He gave me a wink followed by a laught and off he went to ride his bike with his friends..
Zaid's my little brother when I look at him I see me in him it's just he's a little on the sweet side and i am not

So today I decided to go for an all black Armani suit with my favourite Rolex

It was 8:30 when I greeted momma and. Dad and left for the office i reached their a little early than others as there was an important meeting that I had to attend and I could not miss it. I reached my office when my secretary entered and showed me the file of the interns joining today..i quickly skimmed through all of them except one it caught my eye
It read Zara Khan..i felt happy and i realised what I was doing is wrong so I quickly closed the file and on with the meeting

I was waiting for the people to arrive when my secretary walked in telling the meeting was not possible as the people decided to decline the offer
I was angry but i couldn't shout because if I shout nothings gonna change so i quitely exited the room and made to perform wudu
It calmes me down

Later during lunch after praying my zuhur prayer I had gotten a call from Dua i usually ignore her calls but today it was from my aunt's number so I picked it up.Dua wanted to go out with me but I wasn't interested at all I was only gonna go out after I get married or if it's together with family..i was really getting angry when dua kept insisting when there was a knock on the door I said *come in* i was sitting towards the window when i turned
I saw the most beautiful smile ever but i lowered my gaze quickly and said ma sha Allah.i realised i shouldn't do this so I asked her who are you and what are you doing here...she stammerd and replied that she was just here to give the coffee
I felt bad but I couldn't tell it to her.i was still looking down because i couldn't see her just then my secretary came in and handed me the files..the girl quitely exited i asked my secretary about the girl
She said the girl was an intern in the management department and her name was Zara Khan.

Just then i remembered seeing this name in the intern file this morning
I thanked my Secretary and she left
When I felt something i shouldn't be feeling and i couldn't get out of it so I prayed my prayer and I was shocked to see myself in this state
ZAYAN HAKIM falling for just a girl's name
Subhanallah! never imagined that
I quickly cleared my thoughts amd sat when I got a call from Zaid that his bike tyre was puncherted and that he needed help it was 6:00 i came out when I saw the same girl in the parking lot along with another girl.

I got in the car and went. I picked zaid up and we both were on the way home when zaid thought it would be nice to go to the beach..i usually didn't like the beach but for my siblings i would do anything i could so we went to the beach had some chaat and returned back home on the way I prayed magrib in the masjid and later returned to my room when momma entered and asked me to lay my head in her lap I did as she told and she spoke:Beta i think you should get married I really want to see my grandkids I tried to avoid this question but uk mom's always know

I said momma that i didn't want to get married
She asked me if I had liked someone and I said I didn't..but i couldn't stop myself from telling her about the girl I saw at the office today..my mom asked me question I just ignored them as I was feeling very tired so I took a shower and decided to read the Quran I read it for sometime and later joined the family for dinner everyone sat.

Momma had prepared my favourite aloo ka Paratha i are atleast 3 of them and was returning to my room when zohra and zaid called me for Playing some cards since it's the only time we all are free I played 2-3 rounds but felt very tired so I returned to my room and layed on the bed when a sudden memory of her flashed I tried to forget it and sleep but somewhere I could feel I was liking a person I just met today and this felt so wrong... This is the first time in 27 years of my life my heart felt so uneasy just for a stranger so I lay my prayer mat and pray my night prayers.

I felt calm and happy and i thanked my rabb for everything he's given me a loving family and beautiful knowledge..
Alhamdulillah

It was getting late and tomorrow I had to go for work early again so I prayed my adhkar got into my tshirt and tracks and drifted to sleep

So how's the 2nd chapter..?
I've got exams coming up this week and the next week but I'll try my best to post..
