The Life of Dani O'Connor

Chapter twenty two

Brian, Mia & Dani: * walks in and sits in the right side of the room *
Brian: * wraps his arms around Mia's shoulders *
Dani: * plays with her sleeves *
Mia: * grabs Dani's hand *
Dani: * smile's a little *
Guard: all rise
Brian, Mia & Dani: * stands up *
Judge: * comes out and sits down * please be seated
Brian, Mia & Dani: * sits back down *
Judge: please rise, Mr Toretto
Dom: * stands up *
Judge: I've listened to the testimony and taken into special consideration Agent O'Connor's and his daughter Dani O'Connor's appeal of clemency on behalf of Mr Toretto that his actions directly resulted in the apprehension of known drug trafficker Arturo Braga who is the father and responsible of the death of his late son Nathan Carson...however, this judiciary finds that one right does not make up for a lifetime worth of wrongs and such as, I find that I am forced to level the maximum sentence under Californian law
Brian: * gets annoyed and walks away *
Mia: * tears rolling down *
Dani: * shakes her head with tears in her eyes *
Judge: Dominic Toretto, you are hear by sentenced to serve 25 years to life at the Lompoc maximum security prison system without the possibility of early parole, this court is adjourned * bangs his gravel and walks out of the room *
Dani: * starts crying softly *
Mia: * wraps her arms around Dani * it's okay sweetheart it's okay
Dani: * sniffs *
Mia: come let's get out of here hmm let's go find your dad okay
Dani: * nods softly *
Mia & Dani: * leaves the courtroom and looks for Brian *
Brian: * sitting on the steps outside *
Mia & Dani: * see's Brian sitting on the steps *
Dani: * looks at Mia *
Mia: * whispers * go ahead
Dani: * sits next to him *
Brian: we need to get him out, he doesn't deserve this
Dani: you want to break him out
Brian: * nods softly *
Mia: I have some contacts that can help us, I'll call them, it'll have to be soon though, after he is in the prison breaking him out will be a lot harder, the best time to hit would be the transfer bus
Brian: are you sure about this, Mia
Mia: I'm sure
Dani: I guess we have nothing to lose

Brian, Mia and Dani were just behind the bus holding Dom and all the other prisoners

Brian & Dani: * split off from and went either side of the bus as they got closer *
Dani: * goes left *
Brian: * goes right *
Mia: * stays behind as she was the back up *
Dani: * drives up from the right side to the front of the bus *
Brian: * drives up from the left *

Inside the bus, Dom heard the revving of a charger and knew that Brian was there. He guessed Dani was with him and they were going to get him out of here. He is slightly happy they are going through all this trouble for him but also slightly worried that they are going to get caught. Then they'll all be in
prison.

Dani: * comes out in front of the bus first and swerves into the left lane driving ahead until she was a little further away from them all *
Brian: * stays in front of the bus as Dani did this to keep the attention on him *
Dani: * pulls the handbrake and turn the car so she was facing the bus *

She drove straight ahead, until she passed Brian then she swerved into the same lane as the bus, heading straight for it.

Brian: * looks at her through the window just to make sure she is okay *
Dani: * taps her fingers * I'm okay dad

The bus driver moves suddenly to the left to avoid hitting Dani but Brian slams his brakes on. Not giving the bus driver enough time to fully swerve, he slams into the back of Brian. The corner of the bus hit the car making the bus flip a few times ahead of them until it stops on its side.
