I went to Alyssa's class to see her before first period, but she wasn't there. I ask Harper and she says she hasn't seen her either. Harper tries calling her, but there's no answer, and I start to get worried.
"Harper, did she really not say anything to you about being gone today?" I ask my sister during lunch period. "For the last time Andre, I don't know where she is. She never told me anything," Harper says in an annoyed tone. I nod, disappointed, but there isn't much I can do anyway. I finish lunch and head to next period.
I continue throughout the day as normal, expecting her to simply be late, but she doesn't show. I try calling her, but again, she doesn't pick up. I was tempted to drive over to her place to see what the hell was going on, but I decided against it. She probably just skipped one day, she'll probably be back tomorrow.
