I.
I used to write lonely poems on my phone.
Writing about a man they call Everlone.
He’s very sad, but you can’t see him moan.
You see him smile but inside, he feels alone.II.
The man can laugh, people thought he’s happy
He socializes but still feels empty
No one knows why Everlone feels lonely
Nobody can explain but solely me.III.
Girls admire a lot, his cute eye
So perfect, seems like it never cry
Heart capturing smile…? They actually lie
Oh how mysterious is this handsome guy.IV.
Now you know some things about him
That Everlone is sad as his name suggest
And you ask the reason for such suffering
The fact that he got friends and girls obsessV.
Well here’s what he told me one day
While in the space of silence we stay
He relate to me his deep… deep… longing
For his state of sadness is already unbecomingVI.
With an old guitar, he strum, he started
To sing about his story long time awaited
It was extremely sad that the birds fall dead
As they hear those lyrics of love unsaidVII.
Thousands of I love you dedicated to a girl
Who Everlone ever want in this world
But he can’t have her, she belongs to somebody
Poor Everlone… left in taciturnityVIII.
There are lots of fishes in the ocean
Why yearn for someone not for you?
But Everlone won’t listen
He prefer to dwell in the blueIX.
And so this wordy and lengthy poem
ends with lesson and with song.
That’s the ballad of Everlone
who actually wrote this all alone.09.26.12
