Pagkatapos ng meeting namin sa LAC, I'm still dumbfounded by what just happened.
I can't believe they picked me to be the one to compete for that creative modeling— I don't even know what the heck that contest is about.
Kahit wala na si Georgina dito sa org na 'to, siya ang nagpasimuno kaya ako napili. She said to Ashley that I had remarkable marks from our Photography class and even asked me to share my outputs.
Kaya kung makikita ko man yung Georgina na 'yon, I'll really rip her apart into pieces.
It's currently 4:30 pm at balita ko ngayong araw gaganapin yung competition na sinalihan nung Avila na 'yon doon sa espanya. That's why the University ended the classes early today dahil magsisimula ang contest ng 10 am do'n, at dito naman sa pilipinas ay magsisimula ng 5 pm.
That's also the reason why mostly Art majors are at the Gymnasium after their classes to witness the live event, since it's broadcasted for the Universities to watch.
Wesbech has won the AAIC for five consecutive years, and I've never went to any live viewings since I became a part of the institute. But now, I was quite curious to see how good she actually is.
Kasama ko si Tatum ngayon papunta doon dahil nagpumilit ito na sumama when I told her that I'll be watching the live broadcast of the competition, ewan ko ba dito at nakiki-kapit bahay pa, she says she doesn't have any friends in her block. So she kept on bothering me instead, at nasanay na rin ako.
She's not that bad to be with, sa katunayan nga.. I think I have a little sibling when I'm with her.
Tatum has a soft yet strong personality. She might look like she doesn't fight for herself, but coming from a family of lawyers and businessmen, she handles herself quite well. Wala din 'yang pinapalampas pag alam niyang nasa tama siya.
"Earth to Astrea?" Puna niya sa'kin, nasa harapan ko na siya dahil siguro ay hindi ako nakikinig sa mga kwento niya.
"Oh, bakit?"
"Kanina pa kita kinakausap, akala ko naman nakikinig ka because you kept on nodding with whatever questions I threw at you, but when I asked if do you freeze your utot sa ref, tumango ka pa rin."
Pagkarinig ko sa sinabi niya ay agad na nangunot ang noo ko at pilit iniintindi ang sinasabi niya, "Tama ba ang pagkakarinig ko, did you just said that?"
"The what?"
"Yung huling sinabi mo."
"Yung tumango ka?"
Napahilamos nalang ako ng mukha, "Hindi. The question you said."
"Ahhhh," Humagikgik niyang saad, "If you freeze your—"
"Where did you even learned that from?" I cut her off so she wouldn't say it again, nasa gym na kasi kami, and we're just finding some available seats kaya may nadadaanan na kaming mga estudyante.
Nagkibit-balikat lang siya, "Tiktok?"
"No wonder,"
"Hey, what does that mean?"
"It means na tigilan mo na 'yang kaka-tiktok mo. Gandang babae pero balahura ang bibig." Binulong ko na lang ang huling sinabi ko dahilan para tumititig ito sa'kin ng masama.
"Oh, there's some seats." Napatingin rin ako sa direksyon na tinuro niya and saw that the Professors were already seating in front of the row she pointed at.
"No, maghanap pa tayo ng ibang mauupuan—"
"Oh come on, don't be pabebe. We're lucky enough to sit in front of the screen."
