In the silent chambers of my heart, I write,
Words unsaid, emotions taking flight.
Afraid of rejection, I keep them concealed,
In the safety of verse, my truth revealed.

With each pen stroke, I pour out my soul,
Hoping you'll see, understand the role
Of these lines that dance with passion's fire,
A love unspoken, a hidden desire.

In the cadence of rhyme, I find solace sweet,
A sanctuary where our love can meet.
But oh, the fear of being turned away,
Leads me to hide behind words, night and day.

Yet still, in these verses, my love shines bright,
A beacon in the darkness, piercing the night.
For though I may falter, and silence may reign,
My heart's song for you will forever remain.

So let these lines speak what I cannot say,
In poetry's embrace, my feelings sway.
For even if rejection's sting I must endure,
My love for you, in verse, will remain pure.
