Chapter Seven - Questioning

I've been training all day with Istenia. It's been tiring. 

Imma go to sleep.

I walked inside the room. Kat is probably asleep on the top bunk. Her bed is always looking like she was asleep there.

I got on my bed and fell asleep immediately.

I remember being with my mom. She made me write "I will never do it again" for sneaking out of the house.

I kept on writing and writing till the page filled up.

I woke up.

That was a nightmare.

I checked Kat's bed. It was the same as the night before.

"Kat? You there?" I asked.

I moved the blanket away. She wasn't there.

I went downstairs. Sitir was awake and working downstairs.

"Did you see Kat?"

"No?"

"Do you know where she is?"

"No."

"Then we should search for her," I mentioned.

Coris came from the courtyard.

"What's going on?"

"Kat is missing."

"I don't care. All I care about is the work." Sitir said.

I wanted to respond with anger. But I didn't, if I did I would get 1000 coins taken away from my paycheck.

I turned to Sitir.

"Does Coris, Istenia, or Katalina have any assignments to do?"

"No, only you have one. And if you want to cover for them go ahead."

"I will." I approached Coris, I lowered my tone. "Go find Istenia, ask her if she wants to go. Then let Sitir know if it's just you or her going. And then go after Kat."

"Okay, love." He smiled.

"You need to stop," I said with a neutral face.

Coris left.

I approached Sitir. "What's my assignment?"

"First you need to try to make yourself look more different. Cut a bit of your hair maybe or do a different hairstyle. Cause there is still kind of a bounty on you."

"Sitir... assignment. I have already changed enough." I interrupted.

"Right... Tonight you will attend a ball at The Red Rose Museum. You will have to steal a key to the Royal Palace. And also if an opportunity presents itself. Anything that is there will be accounted as a bonus based on value."

It's a serious assignment. Like what else will be there? Stealing something from the Royal Palace? Hopefully, I won't have to do so.

"Is there a certain dress you want me to wear?" I questioned.

"It's your choice. I'll provide you with a ride to it."

"Okay."

"I'll see you later tonight at 10 pm."

I left.

I went to my room.

I did my hair. I did two braids that connected into a bun.
