Third Person's POV

As the seasons shifted and time marched relentlessly forward, a year had passed since Lucas and Sofia first embarked on their journey at UWC Atlantic College.

The once-familiar halls of the prestigious institution now buzzed with the energy of anticipation, for graduation loomed on the horizon, promising a future filled with promise and possibility.

Yet amidst the flurry of activity and excitement, Lucas and Sofia found themselves caught in the whirlwind of change—a change that would test the strength of their bond and the depth of their friendship.

Academics had intensified, demanding their full attention and commitment as they prepared for the final exams that would determine their future paths.

Lucas immersed himself in his studies, his determination driving him to excel in every subject. Sofia, too, dedicated herself to her coursework, her passion for learning shining brightly even in the face of mounting pressure.

But as their schedules grew increasingly hectic, they found themselves with less time for each other, their once-frequent conversations and shared moments becoming rare and fleeting.

Lucas threw himself into various extracurricular activities, his time divided between academic pursuits and social engagements.

It was during one of these social outings that Lucas met someone new—a girl named Emily, who shared his love for hiking and photography.

They quickly bonded over their shared interests, spending hours exploring the rugged coastline and capturing the beauty of the Welsh countryside through their camera lenses.

Sofia couldn't help but notice the growing closeness between Lucas and Emily, a pang of jealousy gnawing at her heart with each passing day. She tried to push aside her feelings, reminding herself that Lucas was free to make new friends, but the nagging sense of unease lingered in the back of her mind.

Meanwhile, Lucas remained blissfully unaware of Sofia's inner turmoil, his attention consumed by his newfound friendship with Emily.

They laughed together, shared secrets, and supported each other through the challenges of senior year, their bond growing stronger with each passing day.

But as graduation day drew nearer, Sofia's jealousy reached a boiling point, threatening to unravel the fragile threads of their friendship.

She couldn't bear to see Lucas slipping away from her, drawn inexorably towards Emily's magnetic presence.

One evening, as they sat together in the quiet solitude of their dormitory, Sofia finally found the courage to confront Lucas about her feelings.

"Lucas, can we talk?" Sofia asked, her voice trembling with emotion.

Lucas looked up from his textbook, concern flickering in his eyes at the seriousness of Sofia's tone. "Of course, Sofia. What's on your mind?"

Sofia hesitated for a moment, struggling to find the right words to express the turmoil raging within her. "It's about Emily... I can't help but feel... jealous."

Lucas's brow furrowed with confusion, his mind racing to make sense of Sofia's confession. "Jealous? Why would you be jealous of Emily?"

Sofia took a deep breath, her heart pounding in her chest as she laid bare her innermost thoughts and fears. "Because... because I'm scared of losing you, Lucas. You and I, we've been through so much together, and I don't want anything—or anyone—to come between us."

Lucas's expression softened as he listened to Sofia's heartfelt confession, his own feelings of confusion and uncertainty melting away in the face of her vulnerability. "Sofia, you have nothing to be afraid of. You're my best friend, and nothing will ever change that. Emily is just a friend, nothing more."
