"Ready for school?" Hiruzen asked the blonde.

"Hai! I can't wait!" Naruto yelled in excitement.

He chuckled. "I bet. Do you remember what to do?"

"Hai. I need to be deadlast. I need to be a loud, lazy, stupid prankster." He said.

"Exactly. Once you pass and become a ninja you can act like yourself." He assured him.

"Got it." He gave a serious nod.

"Good." He kissed the blonde's forehead. "See you later."

"See you later."

They both went their separate ways. After Suna, the villagers of Konoha almost killed Naruto. They had set his place on fire and if it hadn't been for Asuma and Kurama he would have died. Hiruzen was beyond pissed, especially when the civilian council gave everyone an alibi and the evidence that had been collected mysteriously disappeared. He then secretly adopted Naruto. Only the clans, a few ninjas, and his family knew. Now he was working on fixing the civilian council. They had become a problem and needed to learn their place.

They just needed to continue acting clueless as Hiruzen and the clans collected evidence. As for Naruto, he could drop his mask once he graduated from the academy and his team passed.

Naruto took a deep breath before he plastered a huge smile on his face. To add to the stupid child look he wore a kill-me orange and bright blue jumpsuit with goggles around his forehead. It also helped to hide the diamond on his forehead. He jumped into his classroom. They all looked at him.

"I'M UZUMAKI NARUTO! I WILL ONE DAY BE THE HOKAGE! BELIEVE IT!" He screamed out while cringing on the inside.

Ouch. He said to Kurama.

'I bet that hurt me.' He said as he rubbed his ears.

"T-thank you Uzumaki-kun." Iruka said. "Please go take a seat." He was one of the few that knew the truth.

"HAI!" He yelled.

He walked to his seat. He ignored the glares and whispers from the other students. In all actuality he blamed the civilian parents and the ninja teachers that hated him. The clans would be horrified and embarrassed if they saw how their heirs were acting. If they continued to act that way after he informed them then he would blame the clan heads. Naruto kept a big smile on his face.

'They are truly idiots.' The fox said.

I agree.

'So does Iruka-sensei by the looks of it.' He pointed out.

Naruto caught Iruka's look and internally snickered. So true.

'This is going to be a rough four years.' He told his kit.

I know. I wish Gaara was here. He internally sighed.

'I know kit.'

I'm going to sleep. He said.

'Okay.'

Naruto laid his head down and fell asleep. Many of the students who saw him sleeping sneered. Despite him being trained by the clan heads the kids were ignorant of it. No one wanted it to slip out and some clan members believed he was a demon and some of the children adopted the belief that there was something wrong with him. The other clan children sneered at him due to the disrespect he was showing. The foolish clan children and civilian raised children, like a certain pink haired girl, sneered at him because they believed he shouldn't be there since he was a monster. They didn't know the s-class secret but they heard him being called a monster enough times to believe he was.
