I'm sure most of you won't be surprised by this, but none the less I have to let you all know this story is canceled. For multiple reasons I will disclose right now.
1. I've lost my love and touch for Steven Universe. The Fandom has died, and it's just not something of my interest anymore. Don't get me wrong I love the show, my favorite ship Stapis, but I just can't bring myself to write it anymore.
2. The AU I set this story in became overly complicated, and in all honesty didn't make sense at all. Steven is severely out of character; I mean I know this is the main reasons fanfics exist, but I do have my limits on how far I'll push it.
3. The plot I had set had just become rushed garbage, that honestly made me feel ashamed; especially when my other stories are much better.
4. Too busy to write anything, including writers block because in all honesty I had no clue where to take this story.
5. I recently started rewatching on of my most favorite anime, Fairy Tail. Read so many fics too, which became a huge inspiration to me.
6. If I'm being honest I just want to branch away from Steven Universe and try something new for once, dip my foot into a whole new body of water.
Anyway, that's pretty much it for this. I'm sorry if this disappoints anyone who genuinely waited patiently for me to update this fic. I give my full permission to anyone if they want to pick this story up for themselves. If you do, just give me credit is all I ask.
But for the reasons I'm discontinuing this fic; number 5 is the main reason. Fairy Tail is an amazing anime with a wide selection of characters to love/ hate. If you haven't already, I do recommend it highly. If I do a fic on the anime, it will be for my favorite pairing in the show Natsu Dragneel and Erza Scarlet. I know it's not cannon, but it's a personal favorite. Mainly there will be one shots once I can fully get into the groove of it.
