Jungkook didn't make Taehyung wait. The moment the clock hits 5pm, an official time for them to be logged out, he can be seen walking to get her inside her office
Jungkook knocks a few times before opening the door and a smell of fragrant flowers greets his nostril. He already knows her office is full of flowers from her admirers his brother had told him
He has his eyes widened by the sight. 3 or 4 flowers are sitting near her glass window while the sunflower that he got him delivered is the only one occupying the corner of her table
Taehyung has been standing, arranging her things making sure she didn't forget anything to put inside her purse before looking up to see who enters the room
"Love, are you ready?"
Jungkook walks till he is on her side, arms around her waist pulling her to him, she grabs her purse before she puts her arms around his shoulders
"Yeah, I'm ready.."
He leans kissing her lips softly
"I'm sorry for the mess" she whispers talking about the bouquet, he's looking around the room, a lot of beautiful roses still on there wrap
"Well, I can't blame them.. you're a sin to be ignored"
He leans again kissing her forehead
"let's go"
He hold her hand walking side by side. He's excited thinking where she will take her
Taehyung has been quiet seeing the building around the road has lessened and the ocean view can be seen on the car window. Taehyung opens the shield and feel the breeze of the winds that comes from it
"Kookie"
He maneuver the car till they are park on some beach resort. A valet get his keys to take care of his car. Jungkook has his hand around her waist while Taehyung is holding his arms. Smile can be seen on her face. She can't believe Jungkook takes him to a beach. The last time they both came to a place like this was a year ago that is because they both have a conference to attend
"Tae"
He calls because Taehyung wants to see the sunset and it's happening now the moment she took off her heels inside the room with a view of the wide ocean
"The sun is setting Jungkookie.. let's watch it"
She stand near the shore, eyes forward watching the clouds changes color, the rays of the sun now fighting to shine till the darkness of the night takes over
Jungkook stand behind her with arms securely holding her. He leans his chin on her shoulder. Taehyung turns to leans on his chest
"It's so beautiful here Kookie"
"You're much more beautiful in anything else Love"
They feel the water splashing on their feet but none of them cares, he pull her close and whisper
"Are you hungry?"
Taehyung smiles shyly and nods her head. He pulls her hand going to the table in a small looking patio. A servant is ready to get their order and a cook standing on the open kitchen counter
They order their food and Taehyung is so happy just to be with him. They don't go on a date often but when Jungkook takes him, he makes efforts with it
The food has been served and Taehyung enjoy it, happiness shows in her face wherever he's with him no matter where they are but this time she feels special, extra special that she can't stop wishing that maybe it is today the day she's been waiting for
Jungkook asked her for a dance after some time they have finished eating, the arch that is full of flowers lightens with fairy lights enough to lighten the whole place. The music played with a pianist and violinist
Jungkook holds her close swaying her to the melody, the atmosphere is so romantic that Taehyung feels the need to asked what's the occasion
"Kookie"
She calls pulling herself from him to see his face
"Hmm?"
"I was thinking, if I did forget what is the occasion today? What is this all about?"
Jungkook pulls her, hand on her nape making her leans on his chest
"Nothing, I... It's just, it's been exactly 3 years and 6 months since I saw you that night and I want you to know and feel how much I'm in love with you, how much I love you"
"But Kookie, I know that you love me.."
"Yeah but I want this to make a special day"
"It will be special because you're here with me"
She convinces but the next word from him makes her eyes teary
"I'm sorry for all the things I've done to you, for not giving you enough time, for taking you for granted, in times that I should be with you.. Tae, I'm so sorry"
Taehyung pull back and look at him, she is confuse
"What are you saying? We both are busy.. we have companies to run.. of course I understand"
"but you're being patient with me and I'm thankful for that, you deserve so much more, someone that can give everything you deserve but I'm selfish. I'm selfish to the point that I wouldn't let you go so you can't find him, whoever he is"
He pouts like he is jealous over someone that didn't exist

" I love you too Jungkookie"
Jungkook releases her making space between them and the next thing she knew he is on one knee with a velvet box in hand
"i know but what I need is a YES.. will you marry me? Baby.. please marry me"
Taehyung covers her face with her hands, eyes full of fresh tears. She can't believe it.. he's asking her to marry him. She walks to get him up and nods her head. She can't form a single words. Her emotions are overflowing that makes her hard to say and Jungkook helps her to calm down, he pulls her close and wipes her tears
Taehyung looks up at him and say the words he's been waiting for
"Yes, yes, a million yes Jungkookie.. I'll marry you, of course I'm going to marry you"
She gives him her hand for him to make her wear the engagement ring then put her arms around his shoulders and pulls him for a kiss
Taehyung smiles on the short kiss they share and now staring at the diamond ring around her ring finger
"I'm engaged"
"Yes you are baby, you're engaged with me"
Taehyung nods and hugs him again. How Taehyung wish she's not dreaming while Jungkook seems to know what is she thinking
"You're not dreaming baby.. I really did proposed and you accepted it"
He cups her face with both hands and kisses her one more time with so much love
