At the racing house, the atmosphere was charged with the familiar blend of competition and camaraderie. I sat alongside Jake, engrossed in a racing game, while Sunghoon indulged in snacks, occasionally commenting on our gameplay.

Curiosity getting the better of him, Jake looked over and asked, "What time is it?" Sunghoon, still absorbed in the game, replied, "It's 7:30 pm."

Nodding, I couldn't help but glance at the clock. The impending midnight drive with Seori was just around the corner. Jake, sensing something on my mind, leaned in. "Are you meeting up with Seori or something?" he inquired, a mischievous glint in his eyes.

I smirked, acknowledging the question. "Yeah, picking her up at 8 pm. What's up?" I replied casually, steering my virtual car through a sharp turn.

Jake grinned. "Well, if you're meeting up with her, tell Seori to bring her friend Yeji to our street race on Saturday night. It'll be fun," he suggested.

"Why Yeji?" I questioned, the idea of Seori bringing her friend to a street race adding an unexpected layer to the weekend plans.

I raised an eyebrow at Jake's suggestion that Seori bring her friend Yeji to the street race. The surprise deepened when he confessed, "I'm into her."

I couldn't help but chuckle. "Yeji? Seriously?" I teased, focusing on the game. "She's a minor, man. You should stay away."

Jake, undeterred, played the age card. "Well, if we're talking about minors, then you should stay away from Seori too, shouldn't you?" he retorted, a sly grin on his face.

I rolled my eyes, shooting down his argument. "There's a difference. Seori and I are just friends. No romantic interests. And I'm not planning on getting romantically involved with her," I clarified, emphasizing the point.

Sunghoon, who had been quietly enjoying our banter, burst into laughter. "Looks like we've got a complex situation here, boys. Age and romance, always a tricky mix," he remarked, still chuckling as he munched on his snacks.

The banter with Jake continued, our playful exchange echoing through the racing house. Sunghoon, thoroughly entertained, added his own quips, creating a lively atmosphere as we navigated the intricacies of friendships and potential romances.

Gathering myself, I decided it was time to prepare for the midnight drive. I grabbed a couple of blankets, a selection of snacks, and the essentials for the adventure ahead. As I organized everything, Jake and Sunghoon couldn't resist teasing me.

"Leaving us for your secret date, Jungwon?" Jake teased, a mischievous glint in his eyes.

Sunghoon chimed in, "Hope you've got enough snacks for two."

I rolled my eyes, playfully swatting away their comments. "It's not a date, just a drive. And I'm prepared for anything," I replied, grabbing my car keys.

The teasing persisted as I headed toward the door. "Don't forget to bring her home before curfew," Jake added with a wink.

Sunghoon laughed, "And keep it PG, Jungwon."

I shook my head, their banter echoing in the background as I stepped out, leaving the racing house behind.

With snacks and blankets neatly arranged in the backseat, I settled into the driver's seat, the anticipation building as I revved the engine. The city lights glowed as the night unfolded, and I navigated the familiar streets toward Seori's house.
