Been a little busy these past few days, and am falling behind on my update schedule. But I did get through editing three chapters, so here you go!

Raghuveer gestured towards the sofa. After they were seated comfortably, he continued. "I told you after we married that I didn't want your interference in my life, and I appreciate that you've respected my boundaries. But we can't go on like this. If we're to spend the rest of our lives together, we should at least have a civil relationship. We should know more about each other, because we are now a part of the same family, and that will never change. What do you think? Can we give this a chance?"

When Raguveer had told her that they needed to have a talk, Vaidehi had never expected this to be the topic of their conversation. Was he, more or less, asking to become friends? She was debating whether or not to ask him that very question when he raised an eyebrow, patiently waiting for her answer. Had she ever mentioned that her husband also looked really hot in that pose? Focus, Vaidehi. "Are you asking if we can become friends? If so, my answer is yes."

He initially frowned, but later nodded in agreement. "I'm glad we're on the same page. Now, would you like something to eat or drink, or a tour of the apartment?" That was a sudden change of subject, but Vaidehi accepted it. "Nothing to eat or drink, but I would love a tour." The tour was fairly quiet, but Veer would occasionally add tidbits of unknown and interesting information related to each room, and Vaidehi quite enjoyed this side of her husband. Although Vaidehi had a pretty good idea of the family business, she asked Raghuveer to explain as they drove to lunch, and the passion and drive for his work was obvious.

Akanksha had made a reservation on the top floor of a gorgeous hotel, built as a whimsical, open greenhouse. And even more, she had booked the entire floor for privacy. Perks of being rich. Slowly, throughout lunch, Vaidehi and Raghuveer opened up to each other, as if they were friends catching up on everything that had happened over the past several years. Raghuveer finally realized that he couldn't have asked for a better wife even if she was made to his every specification, and Vaidehi was glad to see that her intuition was once again proven right. Her husband truly was a good man.

Certainly, he had a few flaws, like anyone else, including her, but it was nothing they couldn't work on. Remembering Akanksha and Priya's request, Vaidehi nervously asked if he would like to take a picture. Surprisingly he agreed immediately, and even joked about what Akanksha and Priya had said. Vaidehi flushed slightly, but nodded, confirming what he had asked.
