The next morning Carol came by early to see if Hal needed help with Dick.
"Hey Carol Dick is still sleeping." Whispered Hal
"That's fine I can make him something to eat." Carol walked into the kitchen and looked in the fridge. "Oh your out of food."
"I know I haven't been able to get any."
"That's fine I'll go to the store and pick something up."
"No I'll do it plus if he wakes up I don't know what to do with him."
Carol giggled she knew how bad Hal was with kids. "Ok I'll text you what we need."
"Great." Hal grabbed his coat and ran out the door then came right back in, "I forgot to put on pants?"
"Yeah."
"Dang it."
Carol laughed her boyfriend was stupid sometimes, but that's what made her love him.
When Hal finally left he slammed the door loudly to scare Dick awake.
"Morning Dick." Smiled Carol
"Carol..." Whined Dick
"Yes?"
"I made an accident."
"Oh no worries." She picked up Dick and took him to the bathroom. She changed him and wiped he couch of with special cleaner she found.
"I'm sorry."
"Oh don't worry accident happen."
