Gwen was really nervous. She and Finney had gone through the speech, and had practiced it but she still felt like she was gonna puke. They decided to do it before the game so that the flowers wouldn't be awkward to hold. As they walked, Finney was doing his job properly.

Before they left, she had asked him to keep her distracted from her nerves.

"Yeah, so we have this project with all of our crushes and on top of that, they don't know about our band so we have to keep sneaking off to talk about that shit."

Gwen was nodding along, trying not to bitch out on the plan. She knew Amy wouldn't react poorly, but she really wanted her to reciprocate her affections.

They got on the team bus, no one even batting an eye. By this time they knew that she was going to ride to the game with her brother, and that there was nothing they could do to stop her. She smirked, walking towards the very back seats. She and Finn sat down with her on the inside, making sure that Amy wouldn't see her right away.

"Hey, do you have an ETA from Bruce?"

"Hold up let me text him."

She watched as Finney texted Bruce, thinking back to the plan.

"Yeah, he said they just got to the school, so they'll be on the bus in like 2 minutes." Gwen quickly dusted off her outfit.

She had Finney help her pick it out, and she thought that they did pretty good. She was wearing a pair of tight black jeans, one of Finn's Conan Gray shirts, and a pair of Goth Stompers. They had done her eyeliner and even painted her nails. She felt comfortable and confident.

That was, until Bruce and Amy Yamada walked into the bus.
