Courtney Satella

I don't think you understand. I kissed Duncan.
Well, he kissed me, but nonetheless, we kissed.
I didn't pull away. I kissed back.
The boy who just a day ago disgusted me - well, he didn't disgust me, but I swore I hated him- kissed me.

And now we are going to go on a date. A date.
Even when we were dating, we never went on a proper date. A date. Like in a restaurant and like when I'm not pretending to hate him.
When he dropped me off at my house, he called my name and said: "I'll pick you up on Friday, after school."
I rolled my eyes (as per usual) and shook my head no.
He said: "You're gonna be there."
I laughed at him and walked away, but he was right, I am gonna be there.

And today is the day of the date.
I practically fought Duncan not to bring the bike. Third chance of dying? No way.
I don't know why, but I'm not nervous.
When I went on that blind date with Scott- I was nervous. But I'm not nervous now.
Shit. I forgot about Scott. I really hope he's gotten over his little 'crush' on me because I've been ignoring his texts. And avoiding him too.
Okay, enough about Scott.

Heather chose my clothes over FaceTime and of course she picked the sluttiest thing possible, but I listened to her anyway because I've never been on a date and she has been on multiple.
So now I'm wearing a tiny red dress.
If my Dad catches me wearing this he will actually murder me.
So I covered it with a huge hoodie, which Duncan will most likely mock me for.

I hear a knock at my door and run to answer it, but when I come downstairs, I'm greeted by an angry dad and a smirking Duncan.
"What is he doing here?" he shouts, eyebrows furrowing.
"We're going on a date?!" I shout, giving Dad a look.
"WHAT?!" he says, looking at Duncan angrily.
"I can see the resemblance of you two." Duncan grins. Why must he be like this..?
"Dad, por favor só deixa eu ir! Eu sempre tou estudando, só queria UM dia que eu posso fazer uma coisa divertida!" I plead. (translation: dad please let me go! i'm always studying so please let me do one fun thing!)
"Fine. Bring her back at 11 or else." Dad huffs at him.

I roll my eyes at Duncan as I walk to him, closing the door on my way out.
"No judgement, but I'm confused by your choice of clothing." Duncan says, looking up and down at my hoodie.

Duncan Tarun

I had to drive in the car since Courtney wouldn't come if I brought the Harley.
"I forgot about your fancy car." she grins, sitting in the passenger's seat.
"Warning: I'm not the greatest driver but don't freak out." I warn her as I watch her eyes light up with panic.
"Okay then. I'll drive!" she smiles, clearly freaking out.
"No. It's fine." I say as I turn the key.
This is gonna be a long drive.
I hit a few things on the way while Courtney bitched at me but finally, after 6 trash cans- we got there.
