The air crackled with tension as the witch demanded Blade reveal a hidden truth. Blade, unyielding and imposing, faced her with the calm of an ancient being, his eyes deep pools of untold stories. Her ominous words seemed to merely brush against the surface of his centuries-honed resolve.

"Unveil your deepest secret, vampire," the witch insisted, her tone menacing but failing to ruffle Blade's composed exterior.

A slight narrowing of Blade's eyes suggested he was calculating his response, not out of fear, but careful deliberation.

Noticing Blade's pause, the witch turned her sinister focus on me. Her eyes glinted with dark pleasure. "Seems our vampire needs encouragement," she taunted. Extending her hand, she unleashed a formidable energy toward me.

I attempted to evade her assault, but it was futile. In an instant, I found myself engulfed by a surge of dark, electrifying energy. The sensation was excruciating, like countless icy daggers relentlessly piercing my skin. This overwhelming force rendered me immobile, my muscles seizing up, and my breath catching in my throat as the magical grip constricted tightly around me.

Looking down, I saw black poison creeping beneath my skin, spreading rapidly in a visible network of dark veins. The sensation was terrifying, each movement of the poison sending waves of excruciating pain throughout my body.

Desperately, I tried to summon my inner Night Huntress powers, hoping to counter the witch's spell. Yet, in her domain, her magic reigned supreme, stifling my abilities and rendering me powerless.

As the witch's cruel spell took its toll, I glanced at Blade, searching for any hint of a strategy. A subtle urgency flickered across his stoic expression, a rare crack in his armor.

The witch's mocking laughter echoed around us. "Choose, vampire. Speak, or she suffers more."

"ENOUGH!" Blade's voice was authoritative, clearly provoked by the witches taunting.

The witch met Blade's intense gaze with a mocking smile, her eyes gleaming with amusement. She leaned in closer, her voice dripping with sarcasm as she responded, "Blade, my dear, you seem to forget that you have no authority here to tell me what to do." Her tone was filled with a wicked delight as she continued, "But don't worry, I'll listen to your little confession. You'd better hurry up, though; time is running out for your girlfriend."

With a deep breath, Blade steeled himself, ready to reveal a long-buried truth.

"Okay, witch! Fine..." he began, his voice a mix of resignation and determination. He was about to spill a secret that had the potential to change everything or perhaps not change much at all.

He paused, seemingly lost in thought, weighing the consequences of his impending revelation. Everyone hung in suspense, everyone's attention fixed firmly on him, awaiting the words that could hold the key to their salvation or doom.

He continued, his voice now unwavering, "The truth is, there is something I've been keeping from everyone..." Blade's unwavering gaze remained locked onto the witch's, his emotions laid bare for all to see. His words hung in the air, an electric moment filled with the potential to upend everything we thought we knew. "There's a secret in my past that's deeply entwined with both of your lives, especially Aurora's."

He paused, the gravity of his confession evident in his demeanor. "Aurora is my niece," he finally revealed, his voice carrying the weight of the truth he was about to disclose. "She's a Dhampyr, a blend of both human and vampire." Blade's words hung in the air, a shocking revelation that left us all stunned. I gasped, taken aback by the sheer audacity of what he had just revealed. I had expected something extraordinary, but nothing quite as unbelievable as this.
