after i was done talking to jesse i got my car keys and said bye to my mom and sister as i leaving to go to the mall. once i got my things and myself into my car i started playing music as my phone was already connected to the bluetooth.
now playing, "friends", by chase atlantic.
"girl, tell me what you're doing on the other side and tell, just tell me what you're doing with that other guy."
i might have only met jesse yesterday, but i cannot get him out my mind. if he says yes to the summer fling, there are so many things we could together this summer.
like going to a strawberry farm, picnic dates, beach dates etc. but all of it would have to come to an end at the end of summer, him and i could always stay friends though. what would happen if i missed him and i got too attached? i just won't get too attached then, i won't allow myself to.
i arrived at the mall and got my things then made my way towards sephora to get serena's birthday gifts. while i was in sephora i got her the dior lip oil she's been wanting for a while, some rare beauty liquid blush and a dior highlighter pallet, a few drunk elephant products, glow recipe skin products and an eye shadow palette from makeup by mario.
the next store was a bookstore, she told me she's been wanting this book called 'you've reached sam' so i got that and a few highlighters for to her annotate the books she's reading.
once i got her gifts and a gift bag i started to make my way home to pick serena up cause i promised i'd take her out for lunch today. i returned home and got the bags and put them in my moms room before knocking on serena's door to make sure she's ready.
"rena! can i come in?"
"yeah sure!"
i go inside the room and see she's almost ready which is a good thing so i take a seat on her bed before she asks me something about.
"so, did you and jess talk today?" she asks while looking at me through her mirror and smirking and i start smiling slightly.
"yes we did, we're gonna call tonight and im gonna ask him about the summer fling."
"ugh finally i've been waiting to hear about that, okay i'm ready let's go!" she says as if she's the one driving and i roll my eyes jokingly before following downstairs and we say goodbye to our mom who's watching her show.
"bye my babies, i love you!" she says not getting up from the couch, to invested in the show.
"bye momma, we love you." i say before closing the front door and opening my car.
serena and i spend the afternoon in a little cafe and then go to the watch the sunset at the beach and we spend the time talking about what she wants to do for her birthday and how she's excited for this summer.

after we returned home i went to take a shower and change into something more comfy than what i wearing before.
i go the check my instagram and saw serena tagged me in her story.
