Upon entering the house, I hastily ascended the stairs to relieve myself in my bathroom. 

using the school restroom has always posed a challenge for me.

After washing my hands I went back to my room and took off my uniform and socks, leaving me in my mareno and tights. 

Grabbing one of my many pillows, I made my way to Teejay's room.

Placing the pillow on his bed, I reclined and settled in.

"Skl did boring today" I said, starting a convo

After a while the laughing died down and we were just there sitting in complete silence

"Soon fwd back" he said reaching into his drawer retrieving a golder wrapper 

"Yk a wah dis" he asked shoving it up into the air for me to have a clearer view

"A sweetie" he laughed before leaving the room 

“and no, yuh cyah get none” he said poking his head through the almost shut door

"Lawddd" Swiftly rising from his bed, I made an effort to divert my thoughts from whatever activities he might have engaged in on it.

Dashing to my room, I promptly swapped out my pillowcase.

I  opened WhatsApp, selected my mother's profile, and initiated a video call.

"Call not answered," I sighed in disappointment. Now, I find myself in solitude, left alone to contemplate my thoughts.
