today i quickly drew serpent boy, Vanilla ^_^ drawing on this tablet is a little wack because all the buttons are out of place from what i am used to and the canvas is big

he is a friend of Iliyaoma's! he only really visits Yao's abode if he wants to bathe in some toasty water for his lower half (caudal) LOL . . he does not really talk because he is lazy (understatement). if he wants something he'll simply gesture to it with his tail. that is mainly how he comminucates. lazy boy just wants to bask in warm toasty water until he grows old and dies /hj.

i decided to do a little add-ons, just in case anybody wants them . . .

i will also make a coloured version later and update it here, below this edit.

* he was found and named Vanilla since he was surrounded with vanilla beans upon having been found at a young age. they did not know what else to name the tiny fellow

* he is supposed to have two retractable fangs (venom), but he only has one.

* lazy does not equal friendly. Vanilla usually does not attack, but if he feels like gifting a human to his "witch" friends, or if he feels genuinely threatened, he will attack. very aggressively, since he is used to being targeted, especially when he was little . . probably the only time you won't see him being a lazy bean is when he feels threatened (get it. i am funny. /j)

* he is usually found either by a lakeside or high up on trees, sleeping or chilling (his dumbass is lazy.)

* birds kind of make the fellow jumpy. he does not like the idea of having his eyes poked out, and he thinks all birds are easily capable of it (all he likes are the songs of birds, from afar). otherwise he is chill with most animals he sees. he likes humanoid and anthropomorphic children the most, he is very friendly with them and he feels the least threatened with them, mostly because they are more predictable than, say, a baby bunny (xD).

{#1:} i tried to quickly make Van in Gacha Life 2, wearing comfortable and human-centred clothes. unfortunately and scarily so, he was originally and first made in Gacha Club . . yes, i know. nightmares. he will only be drawn, now.

a really quick sketch (while trying not to have a mental breakdown at the moment :p womp womp) + one of Vanilla's first designs in the top left corner - those who have stayed around for a long enough time, you may recognise it.
