Why would you talk to someone 24/7 but when
you see them in person, the most you can do is give them a glance. Although she smiles at you and goes to tell you hello, the only thing you can do is look at her then turn away. Not even smile back at her.She walks out of school wondering what she did to make you not engage with her.
"Why wouldn't he tell me hey? Why didn't he look at me and smile? Why wasn't he happy to see me? The last time he saw me he made sure to tell me hey, he told me hey every time he would see me. He'd yell it just to make sure I heard him," She pauses and looks down as she fiddles with her fingers, "So, what changed?"
She likes attention but she didn't just like your attention. You're her friend so it wasn't just attention. It was meaningful conversations, building a bond, trusting you. She shouldn't be sitting somewhere asking herself, "what the hell did I do wrong now?" She can't keep a friend to save her life, don't be another friend to let her down and leave. Don't leave her wondering what she did to you.
You mean a lot to her so for you to just ignore her is cruel.
