Hey guys, I know I've already posted two chapters today, but I am having a fan fiction writing spasm and I can't stop! Hope this makes up for all the lost time!

Eventually my anger cools and I drift off to sleep, curled up on the lounge chair.

I stand in a claustrophobic darkness. As my eyes adjust, I see what is clearly Artemis holding a toddler version of my. Tears stream down my younger self's face and she clings to the ever-awkward Artemis. His chest rises and falls as if he is trying to calm himself. Footstep echo somewhere outside the small space.

The door opens slowly and silently, revealing the downstairs hallway of my house. I recognize the cramped room as our coat closet. In the doorway stands a man with gold eyes and copper hair. Artemis grips the younger me tightly.

"Come to kill me, Sabriel? Or to fail once again?" Artemis snarls venomously.

Sabriel smirks at little me, "Oh Arty. You finally got a real human girlfriend. That little romance with a certain elf didn't turn out too great, huh? Well..."

They continue back and forth until little me interrupts, "Sway-bee-ell..."

"Ah, Emerald Tate, one of the two people who could ever stand a chance at foiling my plans..."

Whoa, what, me? No way. I can't save the world I'm way too average. Well, I guess, apparently not.

"Very well," Artemis's voice interrupts my thoughts, "Get on with it, you sad excuse for an angel."

Sabriel says something about ladies first and Artemis lashes out, knocking the angel to the ground, leaving little me sobbing there. He pushes him to the ground and ties his hands behind his back.

"You should think twice about crossing me, Sabriel. We are going to keep this feud in our time."

The start to leave and Arty's blue eyes lock on little me's.

"I'll see you soon."
